TermWeb requires a relational database to store its termbase data. Since version 3.9 TermWeb is using a Data Source for connecting to the database.
Setting up a Data Source
The Data Source is configured in the application server and not in the TermWeb application itself. This facilitates upgrading TermWeb, since the old version of the application (WAR file) can simply be overwritten without losing any configuration.
To configure the data source, follow the instructions for your application server:
- Configure a Data Source on Tomcat 6.0
- Configure a Data Source on Tomcat 5.5
