  1. Log into XTM Cloud
  2. Go to → Settings → Translation → Terminology
  3. Fill in the requested fields
    1. Use terminology: TermWeb
    2. Client login name: A TermWeb sysadmin can see it from administration menu → Clients. In case of a single-client TermWeb installation use 'admin' here
    3. API Key: A TermWeb client administrator can get it from administration menu → API Key
    4. URL: <TermWeb URL>/services 
  4. Click on the Synchronize button

  5. All available templates will appear. You can remove the templates that you want to hide and leave only the one ones you want to be available for the Project administrator. In this example that is 'Geography and languages', 'TechniTerm all', 'TechniTerm and suggs only':



  6. The synchronize process will create a new user in TermWeb for your client with the same username as the XTM user.

  1. Click on Terminology tab to start using TermWeb via XTM.
  2. Select System settings as TermWeb engine:

Use TermWeb decoration in XTM editor

  1. Log into TermWeb and go to Admin View → API Templates → Click on a template to edit (e.g. TechniTerm all)
  2. Select the dictionaries and sections you want to include in the decoration. Only results from these dictionaries and sections will be shown in the decoration:

  3. In order to use the decoration in a project you need to edit the project's settings and select TermWeb template:



  4. Notice here that the available Templates templates for selection are the ones that you left in the list of this step.
  5. When editing the project you will get decoration results according to the template that you have selected in the previous step.
